Whilst in our nations fair capital sometime last week or the week before, we popped into The Fly's courtyard to entertain people with a merry song and dance from our van (which me and craig liken to He Man's 'Battlecat')

BLOGGAMAGEDDON PT 5 - TOURA! TOURA! TOURA! + OTHER NEWS
Evenin..
so instead of banging on about this and that and how we're all about being in a band and all that...heres some quite simply breathtaking images from the recent shows..radio thingy's...and other ermmm things. and a list of shows we're doing in June...Innit.

found the ultimate light snack / confectionery cross over fusion hybrid.
did some radio session stuff at NME Radio..
wore sunglasses inside...at night...
reworked an all time favourite track with an all time favourite artist for the JD Set gig..(www.thejdset.co.uk)
watched a lot of...
listened to some...
and...

Today (30th march) our first ever silky smooth piece of vinyl was released...
it looks exactly like this..
its super limited and comes with a CD in it too..and for all digital lovers its up on Itunes too..
its available in pretty much every part of this fine kingdom..

BLOGGAGE PT 3 - PRE ORDER THE EP / STUDIO / ETC
Hola,
first things first... Our first ever release, the quite simply pretty damn ace "Your'e not Invincible" EP will be out on March 30th (10" Vinyl & Digital Download)
... thats exactly 16 days from today.
This limited edition 10" Vinyl can now be pre- ordered here..

we cant wait, as this also means we'll be properly out and about doing "concerts" very very soon... (we'll be sticking all the dates up for forthcoming shows very soon)
Aside from this weve been mostly doing the following...
finishing the record...
We made the album in Doncaster....at an amazing studio which not many people know about (check the studio vid on the profile)produced by our very own hands... and its right now being mixed by the esteemed produced mixer and all round thoroughly nice chap Chris Potter..(who mixed "youre not invincible" for the Ep...)
everything was going swimmingly throughout the making of the record apart from one day when, in a split second it was ruined by this..
in a what can only be seen in hindsight as an exceptionally flawed move, we switched from listening to the only cd that was in the car (Friendly Fires record) to Ken Bruce on Radio 2 on the way in to the studio. He's no Wogan.
Anyhoo, we tuned in at the exact time of the half time verse section in Cliff Richards "Wired for Sound" which initially is a pretty smooth bit of tunesmithery, but in the end turned out to be responsible for ruining a day in the studio, nothing worked after this...and no amount of unlimited tea & toast from the all day breakfast Doncasters premier Bar & Grill "Relish" could change this.
Apart from this day we're never going to get back again we cracked on and finished tracking record with ruthless and brutal efficiency...stopping only for the following.

so since the last post weve pretty much been doing this...
signed a deal with the lovely folks at distiller records..
made a video for the forthcoming ltd edtion ep "You're not Invincible" (10"vinyl and digital download available 30th march...) its on the profile.. it was made by my brother James who makes amazing moviefilms... He can be found / contacted here.. jameslockeyfilm@googlemail.com / vimeo.com/jameslockeyfilm
popped in to radio 1
and recorded a session for Huw Stephens @ Maida Vale...
this session also doubled up as our first ever gig, which was pretty ace.
Aswell as "batting it out of the park" it was a good place to introduce our uber drummer and all round multi instrumentalist and general likeable chap Tom Bellamy. Formerly of The Cooper Temple Clause, Tom will be mostly playing drums and anything else we can get him to play at the same time for all our live shows.

Tom also has a properly nice old school executive cruiser of a car.
aside from all this weve been mostly doing the following...

Santo (amazing Mexican place - portobello road - Skirt steak burrito. immense.)
playing this.
and this..
Tom on the other hand is a bit more old school than streetfighter II champions edition and has mostly been playing this..
next week we head back into the studio to finish the record..
